A TEENAGER was knocked off her moped and hurt by a car in Cinderford on Saturday (March 3). The driver failed to stop.

A gold or red car is believed to have struck the 17-year-old on St Whites Road at the junction with Buckshaft Road at about 11.35am.

The girl suffered bruises to the knees and lower legs and was taken to hospital to have her injuries checked over.

Police want to talk to the driver of the car or anyone who witnessed the accident quoting incident 206 of March 3.
