WHEN Dinah Locke found she was stuck in the bath and had to wait for her husband to come home to help her out, she realised it was high time to lose some weight.

"It was so embarrassing," recalls Dinah, from Beachley. "I was stuck in the bath for two hours and had to keep running hot water in to keep warm. It was then I realised I had to do something.

"I've always been quite big since my school days but I reached the point where I was so fat I couldn't walk without a stick, play with my grandchildren, do any sort of exercise."

At her heaviest, Dinah was up to 22 stone, but over the last 15 months has shed a whopping eight stone with the help of local Chepstow Slimming World consultant, Lisa Parnell.

Not only has the weight dropped off, so have her health problems like high blood pressure, sleeplessness and backache.

It has also meant a new wardrobe - she's had to change her clothes from a size 26 to a thinned down 12/14.

"All my life from school I have had to struggle with my weight. But I've done it now and I feel fantastic. A whole new world awaits."
