PARTIALLY sighted bowler, Paul Davis endured 110 degree temperatures in Israel to represent Great Britain earlier this month.
The bowler, from Harrow Hill, who can barely see and suffers constant headaches, came third in most categories including men's B3 singles and mixed pairs.
Supported by the Forge Centre in Cinderford, Paul said he was "well pleased" by the results but found the heat hard to take.
"It was blistering. 93 degrees was the coldest day, 110 degrees the warmest and then in the mid 90s for most days."
