LYDNEY outside-half Lee Osborne has been named the Jewson National League Division One player of the month for October.
Osborne has become an increasingly influential player in the Severnsiders' team and his accurate goalkicking has enabled him to score 135 points so far this season.
On behalf of Jewson, a presentation was made to Lee by Lydney chairman Dr Peter Catlin before last Saturday's home match against Harrogate.
Dr Catlin told the Review: "Lee certainly deserved the award. His goalkicking has been outstanding while he is also playing a much more influential role now that the team is becoming settled."
