I HAVE spent a most enjoyable couple of hours this Sunday morning watching from my OAP bungalow window between 30 and 40 boys, perhaps more, being put thorough their training on Cinderford Rugby Ground.
They were really put through it by their trainers who I would like to congratulate for spending their time with them.
One lad in particular caught my eye as he was a bit more portly built than all the rest. But he was there till the end, which surprised me.
If only some of these kids' parents could spare just half an hour one Sunday morning they would have a pleasant surprise at their son's ability's with a rugby ball.
The couple of hours they spend is no picnic for them as they are kept at it by their trainers all the time. So congratulations to them all and to the lad who took my eye.
I will say to him 'keep at it'. I was like you at your age but lost all that extra weight eventually. Once again, my thanks to you all. – Jack Worgan, ex Cinderford White Rose RFC.
