THIS photo was taken at a Tidenham Royal British Legion carnival.

The king was Douglas Mayo, my father, (I still have his 'sceptre'!).

He wrote on the photo that it was 1935 and his queen was Nancy Stevens.

We have no idea who Nancy Stevens was and sadly my father is no longer here to ask.
