A WOMAN has been robbed at knife point in Lydney's Albert Street car park.
The victim, a 29 year-old Lydney woman, withdrew money from the Halifax bank on Newerne Street. She walked to the toilets in the car park behind Woolworths.
A blonde woman followed her into the toilets, demanded her money and threatened her with a pen knife.
The incident happened on Wednesday, April 1 between 9.30am and 9.45am.
The offender is described as being about 5ft 6in tall, of large build, with a local accent and below shoulder length blonde hair.
She was said to be scruffy looking and was wearing a red hooded top with writing on the front.
Detective Sergeant Rich Pegler said: "Crimes like this are very unusual in the Forest of Dean. We would urge the local community to come forward with any information they might have."
