I WAS privileged to be at the Lydney war memorial for the annual service of Remembrance.

I would like to take this opportunity to pay tribute to Cllr Bill Osborne for once again organising the event which was done with dignity and professionalism.

The children involved were a credit to their parents and schoolteachers.
