BAGGY trousers will be the order of the day when pop/ska legends Madness return to Chepstow Racecourse for a race-day gig this summer.

The legendary chart toppers, who formed in 1976, have announced a show there on Saturday, June 8, four years on from their last visit.

One of the top 20-selling UK groups of all time, with seven top ten albums to their name, Madness have recorded 15 top-10 hit singles, such as One Step Beyond, It Must Be Love and House of Fun.

And with more than six million album sales under their belts, they are still making waves in the pop world, achieving gold status with their latest album Can’t Touch Us Now.

The date is part of a seven-date racecourse tour, and Suggs and the boys will be appearing after a full racing card which starts at 6pm.

They are no strangers to playing the Wye Valley venue, having appeared there in 2013 and 2015.

Other Madness hits they have promised to perform on the night include Baggy Trousers, My Girl and Our House.

The Chepstow performance is open to all ages, with gates opening at 3pm.
