PEOPLE across the Forest donned their Christmas jumpers in aid of Save the Children.

National Christmas Jumper Day gives people the chance to wear their Christmas jumper and raise money for a good cause.

Some of those who took part included the staff at Lydney Bidmead Cook and Gwyn James Solicitors in Coleford – to name a few.

Gayle Prewer, at Gwyn James Solicitors, said: "We raised £35.45 for just wearing jumpers – which is great. We have had a successful year with our fundraising for different charities and this is the last one of the year."

Meanwhile staff at Lydney Bidmead Cook had some fun dressed up in their Christmas outfits. The 12 offices raised in excess of £2,000 which the company directors doubled.

The charity works in 120 countries to save children's lives, fight for their rights and help them fulfil their potential.
