POLICE have arrested a man following an incident at a farm near Tibberton.

The incident happened on the Saturday evening of September 26.

The 53-year-old man from Astcote, Towcester in Northamptonshire was arrested on Saturday (October 3) on suspicion of a section 4 public order offence.

A police spokesman said: “The victim’s account of the incident is that he had noticed the offender sat in his car near the victim’s address. The victim approached the offender which resulted in the offender chasing the victim, kicking his vehicle and attempting to take the victim’s phone whilst he was making a call to police.”

The man has been released on police bail until Thursday, November 5.
