A 46-year-old Monmouthshire man has been arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving and driving under the influence of alcohol after a woman was killed in a car crash between Chepstow and Monmouth.

Gwent Police are appealing for information about the fatal collision that happened at approximately 11.45pm on Saturday (March 19) on the B4293 near Llanishen.

The crash involved a black Kia Carens and a 50-year-old woman was pronounced dead at the scene.
