A 24-YEAR-OLD man has been arrested and released under investigation in connection with the alleged knifepoint robbery of a teenage college student in Cinderford.

The incident happened near Edge Hills Close around 4.40pm on Monday, November 13, when the teen boy was grabbed from behind and pushed to the floor whilst walking.

A Gloucestershire Police spokeswoman said the offender allegedly put the knife to the victim’s throat before stealing his Samsung mobile phone and running off in the direction of the Fern Ticket pub.
