A TEAM investigating odd happenings at a shop in The Market at the rear of Lydney's Regent Arcade are baffled by a strange image on one of the photographs they took.

Sheila Taylor, owner of the Rainbow mind, body and spirit shop, called in the team from Rope (Researchers of Paranormal Events) after small charms and objects had been moved around during the night in the locked-up premises.

It was only when they reviewed the pictures they had taken that the image of a floating pattern of light and a dark shape appeared.

Leader of the Rope team Rachel Hayward told the Review: "When this photo was taken all members of the team, Coral Andrews, Kirsten Bevan and Helen Brown, were seated next to me; there was no one else in the building.

"It really has got me baffled. The Association for the Scientific Study of Anomalous Phenomena have examined this photo and agree that there is something there but cannot say what. They were able to deduce from the photo the shutter speed, thus proving that it was taken on a standard digital camera and not an I-Phone.

"As lead investigator and founder of Rope I can state that I have over 25 years of paranormal investigative experience but am still perplexed by this photo. We will be continuing our investigations and hopefully will be able to prove this photo as 'paranormal'. At the moment, reluctantly, we state that it is 'unexplained'."

Rachel said Rope only conducts paranormal investigations when invited to do so.

"We will not take out fee-paying members of the public as we are not an entertainment group."
