WITH regard to Clare Harvey's 'Living in harmony' letter, she wrote a wonderful paragraph: "It is generally accepted that the wildlife population needs to be managed for the welfare of the animals themselves. Over population would result in shortage of food and increasing levels of illness and would cause damage to the habitat."
Now let's just change two words. "It is generally accepted that the human population needs to be managed for the welfare of the humans themselves. Over population has resulted in a shortage of food and increasing levels of illness and has caused damage to the habitat."
Is it not ironic that you are already there and are in no way, shape or form applying this rule to yourselves. Then we could all live in harmony.
