I MUST put pen to paper to air my frustration over the Stagecoach (number 31) service.

This service runs every hour. An hour is a long time if you have to get to work, meet a train or whatever. If a bus does not pick you up, arrives late, or not at all, then you are stuffed.

This situation does not seem to worry anyone who runs Stagecoach. Would the managers and drivers themselves like to try travelling to work on their buses for a period of time? (No, I think not, you'll stick with your cars won't you!)

Next, I would like to speak to my fellow passengers.

We are not animals. Please don't throw cans, bottles and rubbish on the floor of the bus. It costs nothing to take your rubbish home for disposal. Would students please not keep putting their dirty trainers and shoes on seats that other passengers have to use. Would crafty smokers stop using the upstairs seats at the back on double-deckers as smoking areas. We don't need windows open on freezing winter days to cover up your signs of smoking. (Apart from the health issues how long is it before we have a smoking-related fire on the top of a double-decker?)

And, finally (speaking on health issues) I would like to remind my fellow passengers that "coughs and sneezes spread diseases." Trap them in your handkerchief. Tissues are cheap, so why not use them?

So I would like to ask Stagecoach to put up the following signs – "Anyone found smoking on this bus will be asked to get off." "Please keep feet off seats." "Yes, the above signs do mean you." – Mr T.H. (regular passenger), Cinderford).
