THE search for missing Beachley pensioner Eddie Wise has shifted to south Wales after his car was found in a car park close to Ogmore Beach, near Bridgend.

A spokesperson for south Wales police told the Review: “Mr Wise’s car was found on Sunday in a car park at Dipping Bridge, close to the Merthyr Mawr sand dunes, and we now have officers searching the area.

“We don’t know where Mr Wise is or what has happened to him, but at the moment there is no suggestion of foul play.”

Eddie worked for many years as a caretaker at Tutshill Primary School near Chepstow. He is known as a keen rambler, but has not been seen since July 18.
