TO the Tory voters of Mitcheldean: Did you know that when you voted for Councillor Robinson that he would operate the way he does?

Did you expect him to force through against the people's wishes, against the majority of councillors and against government policy the parking charges at Mitcheldean?

Did you expect him to ignore the facts of businesses in Mitcheldean losing money and quite possibly reducing the money the council gets on business rates if the businesses go elsewhere?

Did you expect that you and others would have to pay a parking charge to go to the doctors?

So far Councillor Robinson has not listened to the sensible objections.

Perhaps if you, the Tory voters of Mitcheldean, each wrote to him, he might change his mind and remove the charge before any more harm is done.

I've no personal axe to grind because I rarely visit Mitcheldean except that I hate to see local communities coming to harm and I hate to see people using a power that they have been given to the detriment of others.
