IS Mark Harper credible? It's strange that the person who supported selling off the areas biggest asset, the beautiful Forest and losing many voters, I am sure for doing so, I now see he is trying to win back a couple of hundred by backing the Allaston objectors. Coincid­ence? I think not.

This is crazy when the council is being forced to allow new housing by non action over decades.

With good quality modern homes in a pleasant environment with a green for children to play safely near home, shops and even their own gardens, it will bring in new families who will spend, create jobs and pay rates to help build infrastructure to move forward.

UKIP is gaining more voters and having Mark Harper as a Conservative MP is stoking this fire.

He is remote from what the Forest needs to regenerate and move forward. He's got to go.
