I AM writing about an incident which happened a few weeks ago in the Viney Hill area. I was out horse riding with some friends and unfortunately I was thrown from my horse, who promptly galloped out of the woods and towards the main road.
It's a day I'll never forget as she proceeded to gallop towards the A48 with potentially disastrous consequences to both herself and passing motorists. Luckily, thanks to some very kind and quick thinking people the horse, rider and the brave pursuer on horseback are all safe and well.
