DAVID MacGregor of Field Fayre is the new chairman of the Association of Ross Traders (ART).

He was voted in at the AGM and follows in the footsteps of Richard Mayo from Truffles delicatessen who recently stepped down due to family commitments.

Launched in August 2009, with just a handful of members at the time, ART now boasts a fast growing membership.

"Ross-on-Wye should be proud of its traders' association," said Mr MacGregor.

"I hope to help build on the great work done so far and unite the traders in positive and proactive initiatives to get Ross-on-Wye moving forward and get the public supporting town centre shops."
