VISITS to the Forest by Gloucestershire Police’s two new horses this month have been postponed.

A spokesperson for Gloucestershire Police said: “We’re really sorry to disappoint anyone planning on attending these events but they are not taking place. The dates were provisional and should have been removed from the police website.

“The horses and their riders will be coming to the Forest soon though and we will publicise those dates as soon as they are confirmed.”

The Review reported police horses, Boris and General, will be patrolling the streets of the Forest for the first time in many years. It was planned the pair, who are based at Highnam Court, would visit Pedalabikeaway at Cannop last Wednesday as part of a series of visits to different locations.
