•On March 13 we printed a picture (letters, p13) of Ruspidge Junior Football Team in the 1949-50 season, and were glad when one of the players called to name the team and committee members. Norman Beach tells us the officials were Harold Lewis, Ben Turley, Fred Cooper, Frank Drew, Fred Jackson, Alfie Partridge, Ken Hook, Harry Byett, Fred Webb, Horace Hyde and Edwin Falk. The squad members were Bernard Bevis, Tony Phelps, Fred Turley, Wilf Poole, Tom Partridge, Albert Beddis, Norman, Neville Harris, Bob Pritchard, Ken 'Ginger' Holder, Jimmy Hall and Les Witts.
