I HAVE asked many questions of the Forest of Dean District Council in both full council and Cabinet meetings over a period of time regarding the finances of this project.

Their answers have always been that the finances were all in order.

What a surprise (well not really) to find that Cllr. Graham Morgan, chairman of the Cinderf Regeneration Board is having 1,000 glossy brochures printed to seemingly go cap in hand to get firms to sign up to invest in this project.

So, as many others and I have thought for some time, the finances are seemingly a shambles with no clear indication of which companies will be investing in this project, and to cap it all, the Forest of Dean District Council Tax payers will be forced to contribute towards this project, whether they want to or not.

Cllr. Graham Morgan seems to continually try to convince people that this site is safe but provides incorrect figures and information to back his claims.
