THANK you for printing my letter last week, but I must inform you that as much as I respect the village and good people of Drybrook, I don’t live there.
I live on Joyford Hill, part of Berry Hill and Christchurch and wouldn’t wish to live anywhere else.
Could I also mention that the Dean Heritage Centre shop is practically the only permanent place where new and other books about the Forest of Dean area by local authors can be still be purchased?
Of course, there are other items such as locally produced arts and crafts which can be bought at decent prices.
Well worth a visit for the discerning shopper.
– John Belcher, Joyford Hill.
