THE bonuses that are being paid out now are obscene. Larry Fish an American banker, employed by RBS, has now got a pension of £1.6million a year. This for failure. What would he have got for success?
Bonuses should be scrapped. If they don't like it, now is the time to sack them. There are, apparently plenty of bankers out of a job now who would jump at the chance of a job.
In my opinion the most obscene bonuses are those paid to the MoD Civil Servants.
Do they get them for just doing their job, or is it for them 'cutting back' on the arms and equipment that the boys need.
Do you remember Steve Roberts, the sergeant who was ordered to give up his body armour and was then fatally wounded?
Was that an instance of 'cutting back'?
Is the lack of armoured vehicles for the Army another example of 'cutting back?'
We should demand to know what the MoD Civil Servants are getting these bonuses for. – George Sankey, Chepstow.
