STAFF and parents are celebrating after the village nursery at Parkend received an "outstanding" Ofsted report.
Opened in September 2005 by Mrs Helen Cornock, the nursery now has 38 children on roll with a maximum of 12 on site at any one time.
Ofsted say children at the nursery make excellent progress in all aspects of learning and development and that interaction with staff is highly appropriate at all times.
The report says: "The rich and stimulating learning environment is enhanced by many vibrant displays of the children's work."
Manager Paul Cornock said everyone involved with the nursery was delighted with the report which would soon be available on the website http://www.parkendnursery.co.uk">www.parkendnursery.co.uk
