IT'S the dream of thousands of youngsters to lift the famous Premiership League Championship trophy – and the chance came out of the blue for quite a few in Lydney last week.
The trophy was on display at the town's Somerfield store and it was almost in disbelief that youngsters rushed home to get their replica club kits and be photographed with THE trophy.
The store took photographs of everyone who wanted to be pictured with the trophy for just £1. The money will be donated to the town's Whitecross School.
"One little Manchester United supporter even insisted in changing into his boots before he would have his picture taken," said a store spokesman.
