WELL, we know it's a bit far fetched, but what do you think?

This image of a tiny man (bottom left corner) appeared when Tess Savigear of Caldicot was walking under the walls of the town's historic castle.

"It was a first for me, anyway!" said Tess, who only discovered the image when she took them off her digital camera after her morning walk with daughter Jasmine, 2.

"It was a lovely morning for taking photographs – the light was really good, and I took a lot," said Tess.

She says this image is a partiocularly nice view – and the elf in the corner is icing on the cake.

"I showed it to Jasmine and she says she thinks it is a fairy," she said.

"I have seriously never seen an elf or a fairy at the castle but I do keep an eye out for a little ghost – I am sure there are some of those around!"
