THROUGH your paper I would like to take this opportunity to say a very big thank you to all the ladies who put on a lovely Christmas party lunch followed by some entertainment at the Ruardean Woodside village hall for all the senior citizens of the village on Saturday, January 11.

A good time was had by all. The ladies must have put a lot of hard work into this. Again, a big thank you.
