WHEN one considers the time and money spent on the Dale Farm dispute, it is hard not to compare events with our own dear old district council.

It is my view that they have failed in every way to implement planning law and the law regarding building regulations with regard to an illegal building in Newnham. They also failed to do anything about a bungalow at Five Acres which is still there at least 35 years after the issue of a Demolition Order.

It is about time there was an inquiry into why these things are allowed to happen.
