A FOREST family is hoping Review readers can help find a ring that has great sentimental value.

Mrs Mary Moreton lost the ring, which was a gift from her late husband Keith, on the fifth anniversary of his death as she shopped in the Lydney branch of Tesco on Saturday (September 24).

The 18-carat gold ring with four diamonds was a 50th wedding anniversary gift to replace another ring.

The family are offering a reward for the return of the ring.

Mrs Moreton’s daughter, Helen McMillan, said: “We realised the ring was missing after coming out of Tesco.

“We rushed back to the shop and although the staff at Tesco were brilliant, we couldn’t find the ring. It’s a beautiful ring of huge sentimental value and she is devastated by the loss.”

The ring was lost between 3.30pm and 4pm on Saturday and anyone with information is asked to call Mrs McMillan on 07766 313 254.
