The fat, greedy London bureaucrats can stay in their luxury flats

For all they think about is today and not tomorrow

And all this will do is cause more sorrow.

They have sold off our assets, and now they want to come to our door

And once they come they will take more and more.

This country is getting over-crowded, this no doubt is true

Now they don't know what to do!

Life has to progress, this I understand, but do they have to take more and more of our land!

We used to have a law called (the green belt) and you couldn't build here or there,

Although this seems to have been forgotten and now they do not care

Our Forest could become another mini metropolis, and I certainly do not want this

For I want the freedom to roam in my Forest home,

To sit on top of a hill and take my fill, of the meadows and trees and inhale the fresh breeze

Please save our Forest!
