EVERYONE is invited to the launch of Gloucestershire's first ever play pod at Sling Playing Fields this Sunday (August 7).

The pod (pictured) filled with loads of playthings to keep the children occupied for hours, came about through a grant from Play Gloucestershire and with support from local businesses, including New Space Containers who donated the container.

The official opening (this was a sneak preview) takes place on Sunday as part of Sling Summer Fete. Barbecue and children's treasure hunt included.

Everything starts at 2pm for 4pm.
