POLICE are appealing for information after a hit and run collision on a darkened road left a cyclist with leg and arm injuries. 

The incident happened around 6.30pm on the B4234 road heading from Whitecroft to Lydney just before Norchard railway station on Friday (November 1). 

A Gloucestershire Police spokesperson said: “There was a collision which involved a vehicle and the bicycle which led to the cyclist falling off his bike. 

“He suffered injuries to his lower legs and arm and his bicycle was also damaged.

“The vehicle did not stop at the scene and continued towards Lydney. Officers are appealing for the driver of the vehicle, or anyone who may have witnessed the incident or have dash-cam footage of the vehicle, to contact police.”
