YEAR Six going on to Year Seven. You are amazing young people.     

You have changed so much over the few short years you have been in primary school. You have learnt to write, read and do maths. 

But you have learnt so much more than this. You have learnt to run, skip and jump, play games and be competitive while retaining empathy for others. 

You have learnt to read sheet music, compose pieces of your own and use a variety of instruments. 

You have explored and enjoyed many different forms of art work and studied many artists. You have communicated feelings to others and expressed compassion to your fellow class mates. You have considered people across the world and how global economies and climate impact on them and how you can make a difference.  

You are thoughtful and considerate with positive attitudes. Remember the phrase ‘I can’t do it – yet!’ 

You have learnt that perseverance and determination results in success – always remember this. Good luck to all of you and enjoy the years to come.
