ONE way of helping to solve the housing problem is to dig out the blueprints for the prefabricated houses that the  government used after the war.

They were made to last ten years – 1946 to 1956 – but some are still in use today. With modern  knowledge and new materials that we have today we could build enough housing for today’s needs that would last for at least  35 years.

Built in the UK by British craftsmen using British materials and made in a factory to be assembled on site.

If we used brownfield sites  for planning it would mean the our green countryside would remain for years to come.
