THE public inquiry regarding the proposed 110 houses adjacent to Wyedean school has ended.

The result of the inquiry will be known around the middle of November.

The latest planning application to excite the residents of Tutshill is for some 126 houses off Elm Road.

It will be discussed next Wednesday (October 22) at Tidenham Parish Council's planning meeting starting at 7pm – don't miss it, it should be informative.

The council welcomes the views of the parish residents regarding all matters.

There is a section of council's agenda specifically set aside for public consultation – your comments will form part of council's decision. The theatre of public participation  can be  fascinating!

Tidenham Parish Council is currently looking to recruit a councillor. Now is the time to put your name forward  and join the council where you will have the opportunity to be part of local government and help make those decisions that affect us all.

It is expected that the selection process will take place during the November full council meeting on the at 7pm on the 19th.

So why not go along to the Memorial Hall in Tutshill, and witness the process of co-option/election for yourself.

A notice confirming this event will be posted on the parish notice boards the week before the meeting, so take note.
