Michelle and Chris Hatcher say they will personally show feline guests and their owners to one of 12 king-sizes suites (or three family suites for more then one cat) where they can settle in. Fees range from £10 per night rising to £22 for a family suite, two cats sharing. Little extras include a prawn meal at £1.50 a go.

While you bask in the sun, Tibbles can enjoy the heights of luxury with cuddle caves and sheepskin beds, a varied programme of music to create a homely atmosphere and a special a la carte menu served in designer china bowls – even the services of a dedicated cat-cuddler.
