LISTENING to Radio 4 'Any Questions' on Friday the panel attempted to answer a question about the EU bail out for Greece.
Even the old Labour 'war horse' Tony Wedgewood Benn admitted that closer political union was inevitable as a result and that there was a huge democratic deficit which he certainly did not favour.
Also in a show of hands, 60/40 voted in favour of renegotiating our membership of the EU, and not one on the panel actually supported our membership. The phone-in also supported a referendum.
There is a massive groundswell of opinion taking place across the UK in favour of a referendum and sooner or later our MPs will awaken to the fact.
The sooner the better.
