•After needing to attend the Minor Injuries Unit at The Dilke Hospital, Dean Evans decided to support the Hospital Friends by organising a 'Run To Ross' with 54 entrants braving the elements from The Lion, Cinderford, to The Hope & Anchor, Ross-on-Wye. To add to the funds a pig roast was organised by Daryl Norris, landlord of The Lion. The Friends say they would like to give a big thank you to all who helped to raise £3,674.29, which was presented to Friends chairman Rob Young (pictured). Most of the money will purchase equipment for the Minor Injuries Unit.
