MIN the meerkat got a good look around a new Chepstow shop when he visited on the weekend.

He popped onto the shoulder of Stacey Trigg to get a better view of what was going on at Chepstow Pets and Reptiles in the Thomas Street arcade.

Min – who gets his name from the fact that he is quite small – was brought in by owner Trevor Hill from Herefordshire for an open day to celebrate the launch of the new shop.

He also brought along some other exotic animals including a skunk and an armadillo.

Also at the open day was Mr Lyndon Steele of Caldicot who brought along his blood python, Bleed.

Stacey works at the shop with dad Alan, mum Sindy, brothers Scott and Will, uncle Lee Braby and grandmother Ettie Culver.
