A MUM-of-two who lost nearly eight stone as part of a weight loss diet is hoping to help clients who want to shed a few pounds themselves at her new beauty salon.

Rachel King launched Beauty Within on Lydney High Street just two weeks ago with fellow beauty therapist and nail technician Natasha Crabbe.

And as part of their new Waterside Court business, Rachel has qualified as a Cambridge Weight Plan consultant having achieved such a transformation herself.

“I’m the living proof that the weight plan works, having lost seven and a half stone!” she said. “I’ve gone from a size 24/26 to size 10/12.

“I’ve tried all sorts of diets over the years, and it’s the only one where I lost the weight and kept it off.”

And she’s hoping now to use her own experience and knowledge to help others who might want to lose a few pounds.

“The day after we opened, I passed my Cambridge Weight Plan exams, meaning I’m now a fully qualified consultant,” added Rachel.

“It’s been a dream of mine to have my own salon and now it’s come true. I’ve a smile on my face every morning I come in. I’m living my dream, it’s fantastic.”
