CHECK out this pumpkin.

Chris Hale, of Cinderford, spent two hours carving out his pumpkin which he bought from a greengrocer just around the corner from his home on Wesley Road.

Chris said it was important that he found the largest and best pumpkins.

In the end he bought three with this one taking particular, centre stage – so much so a passer-by asked if his two children could pose with it.

Chris said: “We had a lot of compliments on Hallowe’en from families trick or treating saying how nice our pumpkins were and that it was nice to see some ‘true effort’ gone in to them. A family even came back the day after and asked if they could take some pictures.”

Chris added: “The two largest didn’t take very long but the centre dragon took about two hours – some may say we have too much times on our hands.”
