POSTWOMAN Gwynie Morgan was given a first class send-off recently, when she retired after 27 years of delivering post in the Dean.

Gwynie told the Review: “I started my round in Victoria Street in Cinderford and then got the Northwood Green round, which I did for 25 years.

“Dot Roberts and Sue Stroud arranged a party for me on Saturday, September 16 at Northwood Green Hut and I’d like to say thank you to them and to everybody who came along. I’m looking forward to enjoying my retirement and spending more time with my family.”
