A VISIT to a barber shop has secured Ellwood under-eights a new football kit.

Chairman of Ellwood Youth Jason Bevan popped into Hair Force 1 in Coleford and was chatting to the owner, Mehment Aksahin, about the club.

He said: “I told him what I did at the club and how the new under-eights team was struggling for money. He then offered to sponsor their kit as he is a new business in Coleford and wanted to help.

“We can’t thank him enough for his kind donation.

“Our under-sevens team is looking for a sponsor so if anybody can help that would be great. We are also looking for a boys’ and girls’ under-11 and under-10s team.”
