AFTER reading the 2003/2004 'Notice of Council Tax' I decided to go for a stroll around Coombs Park in Coleford. Whilst strolling around I became more depressed at what I saw – cars parked on pavements, a car parked in a house drive with a towbar sticking over the pavement, boundary hedges, trees and shrubs growing over the pavements and house owners with boundary walls and fences over the legal limit abutting the highway.
Do our police or council officials ever venture out and inspect what is happening or just sit in their cosy offices drinking tea and coffee instead of making sure local laws are upheld? – An unhappy council tax payer.
