I THINK it is wonderful that the Town Hall in Lydney is being used for so many wide and varied events.
However I wonder why many of these are not advertised at the location itself or that those living in the locality are not informed.
Last weekend my windows rattled from Friday evening through to Sunday night. I hardly slept and I most certainly could not park anywhere near my home due to the parking on all roads and many pavements surrounding the Town Hall.
I'm sure that everyone at the event had a lot of fun.
I, however did not. And nor, I am sure, did anyone wanting to walk along the pavements of Templeway or Templeway West.
I would like to ask anyone holding or attending future events to please be aware of those of us who live here all year round.
