BIG hearted pupils from Tutshill C of E School took part in a whole school conga as well as other events to raise a whopping £1,331 for the NSPCC and ChildLine.
Local NSPCC schools representative, Fiona Meredith, said: "The fantastic amount of money raised from this school is down I am sure to the support and encouragement by staff, willingness and enthusiasm of children and generosity of sponsors. Such a sum makes a huge difference to our funds and our work with children and young people.
"Every day thousands of children and young people need to contact ChildLine about a problem they face. Hundreds of caring adults call the NSPCC helpline worried about a child's safety.
"To reach the most vulnerable the NSPCC is opening 40 state of the art service centres around the UK, including one in Cardiff."
