CHECK out this picture from Rod Burris of the ‘Class of 1958’ at St White’s Primary School.

Mr Burris, of Tutshill, hopes to host a reunion next year to mark 58 years since the picture was taken and to coincide with the school’s move to a new building in Cinderford.

He said: “I am trying to contact more ex-pupils, having already assembled a significant number. It is not rigidly for the Class of 58, ex-pupils from adjoining years are welcome to be involved. Anybody interested in a reunion can call Rod on 01291 625006.”

Chair of governors, Matt Bishop is also appealing for old memorabilia or photos from past staff, pupils and parents to use during a closing ceremony.

He said: “St White’s Primary School is excited to be moving into a brand new state-of-the-art building in February 2016.

“As part of our celebrations we will be holding a number of events in the coming months. One of the events is a celebration closing day which will be held on the last day that we use the current building. This is expected to be Friday, February 12. 

“In preparation for this day, we are asking if any past or present pupils, parents, staff or members of the community have any memorabilia or photographs they would be willing to share with us.
